A Hero in Our Midst!
Sometimes the biggest news isn't a policy change, but a person. This week, the Municipality recognized Patrick Humpage with a Certificate of Recognition for his life-saving actions during an apartment fire at Maple Court. Humpage, a municipal staffer and veteran volunteer firefighter, went above and beyond by discovering an individual trapped in a smoke-filled unit, extinguishing the blaze, and ensuring the scene was safe.
