Multi-Million Dollar Fraud Case Opens in Chatham Without Key Defendant

Proceedings are under way in an $11 million financial crime trial, though co-defendant Ryan Rumble was noticeably absent. Subject to an active nationwide warrant, Rumble is believed to be living in the UAE after being spotted at a Dubai golf event in late 2025. Co-accused Dziedzic (43) and Foss (42) both pleaded not guilty.

Crown prosecutors allege investment firm Banknote transitioned into a classic Ponzi scheme after losing $3 million to self-styled "Crypto King" Aiden Pleterski. On opening day, local investor Emily Hime testified to handing over a $100,000 bank draft at Rumble's home in 2022 following pitches from family.
