Morning, CK. It's a warm, mostly sunny Saturday on the Thanksgiving long weekend, and there's plenty to know before you head out, including what's closed Monday. Here's the rundown.

☀️ Weather
A warm one. A mix of sun and cloud with a high of 24° (humidex 26), and a south wind picking up to 20 km/h late in the morning. Tonight turns cloudy with rain beginning after midnight and a low of 14°. Sunday is the wet day: periods of rain, 60% chance of precipitation, high 19°. Thanksgiving Monday is a mix of sun and cloud with a 40% chance of showers and a high of 23°.
☀️ Major Story — Saturday Is the Pick of the Long Weekend
If you're planning outdoor activities this Thanksgiving weekend, do them today. Expect sun and clouds with a high of 24°, but rain will start after midnight. Sunday will be rainy, so events like the markets, Kids Club trick-or-treat in Chatham, and Garage Gallery in Blenheim are well-timed for dry weather. For Monday gatherings, expect sun and clouds with a 40% chance of showers and a high of 23°, so have a backup plan for outdoor events.
Heads up for Monday: Chatham-Kent municipal offices and most services are closed Thanksgiving Monday, Oct. 12. That includes all arenas, the Chatham Capitol Theatre, Kiwanis Theatre, CKTickets Box Office, Chatham Cultural Centre, Chatham-Kent Museum, Thames Art Gallery and ARTspace. Ridge House Museum and Milner House are closed for the season. Read more at Sydenham Current → · Business closures on CK News Today →
