Morning, CK. An update on the ethanol plant fire that's worth knowing, plus a well-deserved award for a Merlin resident. Here's Sunday.
⛽ Gas & ☀️ Weather
Gas: Regular is up a cent today to 182.9¢, premium up to 212.9¢, and diesel down to 259.9¢. Check today's cheapest stations on GasBuddy →
Weather: A soggy start to the day. Morning brings 15° and a 90% chance of rain (up to 5mm). Afternoon warms slightly to 20° with lingering showers. Evening cools to 17° with clearer breaks. Overnight drops to 12° (feels 10°), with a 30% chance of showers continuing. If you're heading to any Terry Fox Run locations today, dress for wet conditions.
A quick note from William: we're working on expanding CKNow beyond our current email platform to our own dedicated site. Our current setup limits what we can build, and I'm genuinely excited about a cleaner, more polished website that opens the door to features like a dedicated Election Watcher page, an expanded Community section, and more. Your emails won't change at all — but you may start seeing some new changes show up on the homepage soon.
